Department representatives reported high levels of satisfaction with the accuracy of the information that departments include on the website and send to students through regular email alerts. Generally, the feedback was similar regarding the accuracy of programme and module specifications. The respondents seemed satisfied that even where information was incorrect in printed handbooks, staff would alert students to amendments in a reasonable time frame via email or in lectures and updated versions of the document would be uploaded onto the website*. The results below are from the 2008 Kent Union Satisfaction Survey. The results below indicate that a high percentage of students are satisfied with the information published about their courses.

As the questions have changed over the 3 years that the survey has been running it is hard to confirm whether or not student satisfaction with course information has improved or not. Generally the students are satisfied with the information but it should be recognised that there was a low response rate to this survey.
