Feedback from Students through Surveys
The University receives a vast amount of information from students through internal and external surveys. These surveys provide students with an opportunity to voice their opinions and experiences regarding the University and are deemed extremely useful. However, it is unclear to Kent Union how much of the feedback is listened to and acted upon by the University. Faculty and department action plans provide an indication of what issues are being addressed: however at, University wide level there is very little information to this effect. In the Kent Union Satisfaction Survey 2008 we asked the question set out below. The results highlight that almost 40% of respondents were unaware of outcomes and action points from surveys such as the NSS.
